INTRO TO SHOW PRODUCTION
My role for the final project was Project Manager, it was an awesome experience to say the least I chose Project Manager because I was told that I would have to know all aspects of signal flow for Audio, Lights, and Visuals. I was the perfect person for the job in my humble opinion simply because I like to know what’s happening technically with all pieces of equipment. The experience I had creating this project with my crew was a rollercoaster honestly, not everyone knew their area or maybe how things were supposed to be set up, so with me being PM I was going to all areas helping and encouraging my team to understand/complete the task. Not only that sometimes my team would get off topic and goofy sometimes and that would slow us down tremendously, but as time moved on my team was able to finish the task quickly and effectively without a lot of jokes and playing around thanks to me as PM keeping my team on point. With that being said I had such a great time completing this project with my awesome team, I hope to do more projects with more great teams!

CAREER CASE STUDY
In my industry case study, I focused on researching the career path of becoming a Monitor Engineer. This role is crucial in live sound production, ensuring that performers can hear a balanced mix of their performance on stage through their monitor systems. As a Monitor Engineer, one must possess a strong understanding of audio equipment, signal flow, and sound mixing techniques, as well as excellent communication skills to interact effectively with artists and other crew members.
Two related career paths that can lead to this role are those of a DJ and an Audio Engineer. I focused on the careers of DJ Puffy and Brandon Blackwell. DJ Puffy's journey highlights the dynamic and creative aspects of being a DJ, while Brandon Blackwell's career exemplifies the technical proficiency and expertise required for an Audio Engineer. As a DJ myself, I aspire to achieve the milestones Brandon has reached in his career, blending the artistic elements of DJing with the technical skills of audio engineering to excel as a Monitor Engineer.
